Joe started his farrier career when he entered
into an apprenticeship training program during 1994.
Under the guidance of experienced farriers in Northwest Missouri, Joe completed
his apprentice training.
In 1997 his dream of having his own farrier service came true.
Joe's business now extends to the one horse owner, to small farms
with two or more horses, to big cattle ranches with numerous horses.
Joe's expertise is well respected with horse owners and trainers who participate
in sanctioned horse
shows throughout the Midwest.
He presently does cold shoeing and is expanding his business to provide hot
shoeing as well.

This picture actually shows the quality of horse "Socks" is.
Notice his lead rope is not tied. Joe loves shoeing this horse.
A farrier throughout his career will only come across a handful of these kind
who will not only
stand there but help as well.
As you know, a horse that does not fight you but does not volunteer to raise a
given leg,
can still be a back breaker.
Socks on the other hand, will raise his leg(s) on cue.
