| Kendal and Maggie had a great time riding Miss Tees in the round pen. Bryan and Janie Parsons gave the watchful eye as parents do and when they saw how relaxed Miss Tee's is with kids, Bryan, himself had to go for a ride. We sure had fun at the Lazy Run Ranch. | ||||

"Lazy Run Ranch" had very special guests recently. From left to right, Ernesto Peralta, Gabe Gonzales, Alex Mejia, Joseph Wolken, Kevin Kirtley, Katie Kirtley, Bill Kirtley, Andrew Hickman and Gabe Shields are from Cub Scout Den #5. John Gragg, Federal Law Enforcement Officer who doubles as Den Leader, brought the Cub Scouts from Pack 273 to Lazy Run Ranch to work on their Horse merit badges. Each scout had a great time riding Miss Tee and Lady. After the rides, they helped brush out the horses and feed hay. Many parents came along as well and had a great time also. Hats off to John Gragg for his service to Den 5 and to the parents for doing a great job with their kids. A fine bunch of scouts indeed. It was a real treat to talk with each scout and see their smiles as they rode the horses. Lazy Run Ranch looks forward to their return in the near future. Watch for more pictures. |
